چکیده
Machine Learning finds application in the quantum control and readout of qubits. In this work we apply Artificial Neural Networks to assist manipulation a prototypical molecular spin qubit - an Oxovanadium(IV) moiety two experiments designed test amplitude phase recognition, respectively. We first successfully use artificial network analyze output Storage/Retrieval protocol with four input pulses recognize echo positions and, further post selection on results, infer initial pulse sequence. then Network ascertain experimentally measured Hahn echo, showing that it is possible correctly detect its additional single-pulse shifts added during manipulation.

Measurement efficiency and n-shot readout of spin qubits.
We consider electron spin qubits in quantum dots and define a measurement efficiency e to characterize reliable measurements via n-shot readouts. We propose various implementations based on a double dot and a quantum point contact (QPC) and show that the associated efficiencies e vary between 50% and 100%, allowing single-shot readout in the latter case. We model the readout microscopically and...

متن کاملElectron spin manipulation and readout through an optical fiber
The electron spin of nitrogen--vacancy (NV) centers in diamond offers a solid-state quantum bit and enables high-precision magnetic-field sensing on the nanoscale. Implementation of these approaches in a fiber format would offer unique opportunities for a broad range of technologies ranging from quantum information to neuroscience and bioimaging. Here, we demonstrate an ultracompact fiber-optic...

متن کاملHigh fidelity readout of trapped ion qubits
We demonstrate single-shot qubit readout with a fidelity sufficient for fault-tolerant quantum computation. For an optical qubit stored in 40Ca+ we achieve 99.991(1)% average readout fidelity in 10(6) trials, using time-resolved photon counting. An adaptive measurement technique allows 99.99% fidelity to be reached in 145 micros average detection time. For 43Ca+, we propose and implement an opt...
